At De Fil en Forme, each piece is carefully crafted in Gatineau, Quebec. We prioritize thoughtful production, in small batches or on demand, to minimize waste and create only what is needed.

We use PLA (polylactic acid), a plant-based material derived from renewable resources such as cornstarch or sugarcane. This material is known for its stability, precision, and durability, making it ideal for creating decorative and functional objects.

PLA is compostable under industrial conditions and generates fewer emissions during its manufacture than many conventional materials.
